I Have the same problem on both my computers as of the last 2 days, I have tried so many things to try and fix this and have not as yet found a soloution, costing me a fortune with lost time and work I can only think that a new hotfix is doing this, I have started a new PST file, compressed the original, reinstalled office and nothing works until today I reverted back to office and all worked fine?????????

Also I had SP2 on and all updates, I will just use as I cant afford to spend anymore time on this and need to get some work done, Thankyou MS for your never ending supply of buggy software. Yes I agree they all have their problems, but MS is king when it comes to bugs I think most people will agree with this, I feel this is an MS inflicted problem with office as I have been using it for 3 years now with no problems until the last 2 days and it hits both my computers at the same time, I am sure that others will encounter also this problem soon.

It’s new. Outlook ran fine until a few days ago. Now it’s very slow to display an email I click on, and I get the “not responding” message several times a day. I’ve rebooted, used the Windows “repair” tool, and need to know what to try next.

I’d like to ask you to unmark the message you marked since it clearly is not the solution to your problem, only a question requesting more clarification. Sounds like Outlook is having some problems connecting with or getting a response from the Exchange server.
