This will make it snap-and-fill that half of the screen, leaving the other half free for another snapped window. If you have a very large and high-resolution monitor, you might want to split your screen into four parts. This works in the same way, but you drag windows to each of the four corners of the screen — rather than the left or right.

Once you’ve got snapped windows, you can drag the dividing line between them to change their respective sizes. I know if I lower the screen resolution, it will take this feature away. I was wonder if there was an alternate method. Some of my lab computers are for design students, and dropping the resolution would cause me more headaches than I want. In reply to CmdrKeene’s post on August 26, It’s not like that at all.

You can maximize and minimize what ever you want. The point is: In Windows 8 and 8. This is the feature that is causing me problems.
